    It’s really hard to get this out of the jar. It’s super thick, and then doesn’t really hold very well.

    Not for thick hair. It’s essentially made of wax

    Thank you for your comment. This can be hard to get out of the jar especially during cold weather months. Once you press through the top seal, it should soften up substantially and easier to apply, especially if you warm it up in the palm of your hands. This is an "old school" wax based pomade and should work well with thick hair.
